Practice Power Cut – Wednesday 25th June 2025

UPDATE: Power was restored just around lunchtime. We managed to catch up all remaining appointments and prescriptions and returned as many calls as we could. Thank you for your your understanding during a very difficult day in the practice.

The practice building is without power since 9:00 this morning. We still do not have an anticipated time for power restoration.

We have deployed staff to local practices and they are prioritising processing prescription requests. We hope that there will be no interruption to the issuing of repeat medication.

We have had to close PATCHS. We have GPs working remotely to assess any PATCHS already submitted before the power cut. They are also trying to make all of the telephone calls that have been planned today.

If you feel that you need advice today, please call 111 or attend a local walk-in centre. Please do not attend the practice or pharmacy until we can confirm that power has been restored.

We will contact all patients affected to rebook appointments as soon as we can.
