Are you Interested in Becoming a Practice Health Champion?

Oakwood Lane Medical Practice is currently inviting patients to join the team as volunteer Practice Health Champions. This is an exciting new role for anyone with a passion for health and a keen interest in finding ways to help meet the needs of patients and the wider community. Working alongside staff at the practice, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop new initiatives around wellbeing and improve the uptake of existing services in the area.

Ahead of starting the role, Practice Health Champions are asked to attend a free two-day workshop which provides the skills and knowledge required for the role. The workshops are also a chance to meet with other Champions and Practice staff and begin to think about what you’d like to work on together.

If you want to find out more about this opportunity and how to apply, please pop into the Practice and ask for further information. Alternatively, call 01924 327174 or email: [email protected]
